WE NEED YOUR CCTV FOOTAGE IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED AN PARKING TICKETS ISSUED BY CCTV CAMERAS!
ITV are making a programme about CCTV for the Tonight programme. It will
be broadcast in January next year and will look at the value of CCTV, in
terms of cost to the taxpayer and its value in fighting crime.
One area we are going to be looking at is the increasing use of CCTV for
enforcing penalty charges; from parking infringements to dog fouling.
It's a controversial use of CCTV and we would like to hear from you. If
you have any CCTV footage, either stills or video, that was used to try
and enforce a penalty charge against you, then we would love to see it.
It doesn't matter what it was the penalty was for - we're interested in
hearing from anyone. Any calls or emails will be treated with complete
confidentiality.
