I am appealing against the above the bus lane penalty charge notice.

I would like to point out that the signs do no comply with the bus lane signs for The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002.  Nor do they comply with the DfT's Traffic Signs Manual Chapter 3 ( see pages 130 onward).  Moreover there appears to be a complete absence of road markings which are required for a bus lane.  See Traffic Signs Manual Chapter 5 (see page 102 onwards).

Please cancel the penalty charge notice.

REFUND REQUEST

I am requesting a refund  of the above the bus lane penalty charge notice.

Accordingly the the penalty charge notice is unenforceable.

Please therefore refund the amount I have paid within the next 7 days.  If you fail to do so I reserve the right to take action to recover this amount without further reference to you.
