Michigan man pays Orlando parking ticket a mere 36 years late.

The Police in Orlando state that they were paid £1 relating to a November. 7th, 1975, parking fine.

89-year-old Stanley Baker added a brief note saying, "Better late than never!"

Mr. Baker's son stated that his father uncovered the parking ticket in a book which he had purchased at at a boot sale in 1995. According to him his dad made a decision to fork out for the parking fine as a bit of fun, although it had not been given to him.

Mr. Baker delivered the $1 fine in the original envelope in which the parking ticket had been sent.

Interestingly there are no records of Orlando's 1975 parking fines as the records from that year have been destroyed.
