I hope you watched the brilliant "Richard Wilson on Hold" Channel 4 Monday 16th January at 8 pm.
One interesting point when Richard was parking his car using pay by phone parking he was asked to state the number of hours he wanted to park, rather than the normal request for the number of minutes. Consequently if someone wanted just 30 minutes they had to pay for an hour!!
Richard showed the difficulties of getting pay by phone parking to work (it may be best to pre-register on line before).
The programme also showed very briefly pay by credit card parking.
Clearly motorists want pay by phone parking, pay by credit card parking and pay by text parking to work so that we don't get a parking ticket or even worse parking tickets - a penalty charge notice or penalty charge notices n the official lingo!
