Parking attendant finds stolen 60,000 Euros in Italian park
A parking attendant has found a stolen safe in a Milan park that contained 69,000 euros (£58,600) after it ended up being dumped by thieves who were not able to break into it.
The safe was removed to the local prosecutor's office where it was opened up and the cash found inside. Police reported that crooks had made an unsuccessful effort had been made to open the safe
A police spokesman stated that the safewas being examined for fingerprints and hoped that they might be able to get some indications as to who the thieves were. They went on to say that the traffic warden could not believe it when he found the gang and they were so surprised to see him that they fled.
