From 1st April 2015 CCTV cameras will be banned from being used for parking enforcement in England except for use where vehicles have parked on a “Keep Clear” zig-zag outside schools, Bus lanes, Red Routes, Bus stops.
CCTV will continue to be used for moving traffic contraventions, e.g. turning right where a sign prohibits it and for enforcing travelling in a bus lane and yellow box junctions.
